CHANGES TO PDE’S EVALUATION OF MASTER’S EQUIVALENCY APPLICATIONS

The PDE has begun to apply a stricter interpretation of the language in the regulation.  As of November 1, 2007 all teachers in the State have been notified of this change.  The department will no longer accept graduate credits submitted by an educator that are not in the educator’s certified content area.

For more details about these important changes, click here.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Mark Wescott in PSEA’s Education Services Division at mwescott@psea.org or 1-800-944-7732, Ext. 7028.
